Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor IV medications in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and comprehensive care.
• Assess and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of patient care processes.

Required Skills:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Perioperative experience preferred.
• Exceptional patient focus skills with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care.
• Proficient in IV administration and skilled in monitoring and managing patients receiving IV therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
